The Classic League is a boys competitive league for U11-U19 teams that attracts players from all over North Texas. The Classic League offers some of the best competition in the Southwest. By the fall of 2005, the league had grown from 143 teams (approximately 2,290 families) to 240 teams (approximately 3,840 families).
Classic League players come from all over North Texas, but primarily from Dallas, and the surrounding suburbs. We work hard at all levels to promote the highest level of sportsmanship from our players, coaches and spectators. Participation in the Classic League is contingent upon a high skill level and a well developed sense of sportsmanship.
The Classic League is the best league in the South," said Coach Schellas Hyndman, head coach of the SMU Men's soccer team and the 2005 NCAA Men's Finalist. "It is a credit to the organization, the standards it sets for players and coaches, and the quality of coaching." Hyndman's rosters speak volumes about the quality of play in the Classic League. The 2005 roster included 11 Classic League players out of 26. Next year that number could reach 17.
