CLUB PASS (CP) RULE

Purpose: The Club Pass Player Rule is designed to maximize the player's development in playing on a team from the same club at an older age levelThis allows players from the same club to play on a team at a higher level, including an older age.

Requirement: The Club Pass Player Rule to be used for the Classic League must follow the current rules, guidelines (for example: roster sizes), and meet the following criteria:

1. 13U - 19U Teams can have Club Pass Players of up to 30 players from within your club. The 30 players include your primary rostered players.
For example:
If your official roster contains 18 players, you may have an additional 12 players Club Pass to your team.

2. 11U & 12U Teams can have up to 26 Club Pass Players from within your club. The 26 players include your permanently rostered players.
For example:
If your official roster contains 16 players, you may have an additional 10 players Club Pass to your team

3. A Club Pass Player may play in any higher division within their age group.
For example:
A D2 player may play for a D1 team. D3 Players may play for either D2 or D1 teams.

4. A Club Pass Player may play in any higher age group.
 For example:
 A 13U D1, D2, D3, or D4 player may play for any 14U and above team.

5. A Club Pass Player must be a registered NTSSA Player within your club and play in an NTSSA League.

6. Club Pass Players may be added at any time until the 30-player (26-player for 11U & 12U) limit has been reached. No existing approved club pass players may be removed to make room for new players, and no existing players may be exchanged once approved.

7. A Club Pass Player may be on only one (1) team, plus his primary team.

8. A Club Pass Player may play on his primary team and the team for which he is a Club Pass Player on the same day. However, a player may only play in a maximum of two (2) games per day.

9. Once a player has been added to a Classic League team, he is there for the entire playing year (Fall & Spring) and cannot be removed or exchanged.  A Club Pass player being released from the club cannot be replaced.

10. Club Pass Players are not allowed to participate in the League qualifying games or tournaments, including Challenge games and the 11U Qualifying Tournament.

12. A player is eligible as a Club Pass Player in any age group he is birthdate/year eligible for, regardless of what age group that player’s rostered team participates in, provided other restrictions are met.  For example: A player who is classified as a 15U and is rostered to a 16U D2 team may be a Club Pass Player to a 15U D1, D2, or D3 team.

13. Any Club Pass Player who receives an ejection is required to sit out the next sanctioned game, whether with the team he received the ejection from or his primary team.

Clubs affiliated with Austin, Texas, cannot use players in North Texas unless the Club has the same Board of Directors.

16. Penalty:
The Classic League A & D Committee will review any coach or club that violates this rule.
