The remaining 37 11U teams will qualify for Classic League through the 2019 Qualifying Tournament July 27th- August 4th.

 


Important Hydration Information

 
Adequate hydration is essential for ALL Athletes of ALL Sports.
It will be very hot the weekend of the QT.
Please besure your players keep hydrated
Have them start drinking water the entire week before the tournament begins

BAN ON HEADING FOR PLAYERS AGE 10 AND YOUNGER

U.S. Soccer Federation announces a ban on heading for players 
AGE 10 AND YOUNGER.


PLAYERS IN U11 PROGRAMS AND YOUNGER SHALL NOT ENGAGE IN HEADING, EITHER IN PRACTICES OR IN GAMES

Per U.S. Soccer Referee Program
How the rule should be implemented

“When a player deliberately heads the ball in a game, an indirect free kick (IFK) should be awarded to the opposing team from the spot of the offense. If the deliberate header occurs within the goal area, the indirect free kick should be taken on the goal area line parallel to the goal line at the point nearest to where the infringement occurred. If a player does not deliberately head the ball, then play should continue.”

 


TEAM VOLUNTEER PROCEDURE

Each HOME TEAM is required to provide ONE (1) Volunteer during their game. 
Volunteers will be Field Marshals


VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTIONS FOR TOURNAMENT
Home Team Manager or Manager’s Helper will be the Field Marshal for their own scheduled game/games.

Some Teams will be Home Team more than once so that means you will end up Field Marshaling more once.

FIELD MARSHAL VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTIONS:
Teams with 8am Games Only

Supplies to be Picked Up

  • Radio
  • Orange Volunteer Bib
  • Lanyard with Laminated Instruction Card

RICHLAND COLLEGE
Tournament Headquarters Around the Corner From Concession Stand

  • Please arrive 15 minutes or earlier before game time to pick up Radio, Bib, & Laminated Instruction Card
     
  • Each Home Team will hand off their Radio, Bib & Laminated Instruction Card to the next Incoming Manager.
     
  • Incoming Managers please help the Manager from the Previous Game Identify you.
     
  • Look for the Manager who is wearing the Bright Orange Bib.
     
  • After Receiving Radio call into Headquarters with Field # & Team Name.
     
  • Last game of the day should bring the Radio, Bib & Laminated Instruction Card to Tournament Headquarters.

PLEASE DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LAY THE RADIO DOWN ON THE BENCH OR GROUND. THERE IS A $200.00 FINE FOR EQUIPMENT LEFT UNATTENDED.
